A handsome 18th century French Louis XV style ormolu-mounted serpentine bombé shaped Commode Bordelaise Set of three,

The large chest of drawers finely inlaid with geometrical patterns of sans-traverse quarter palisander veneer, the sides as well,

Raised on cabriole splayed legs terminated with fine C scrolling pierced foliate ormolu sabots and topped with beautifully chiseled large acanthus C shaped ormolu mounts, above is scalloped frieze centered by a pierced foliate mount; at the center are four drawers, two larger below two smaller ones with their wonderful foliate designed brass pulls and central repeated foliate pierced Cabochons. Above is the arbalest shape moulded marble top.

The smaller pair of chests has the same masterfully executed veneering and ormolu works but with different C shaped handles and three drawers.
