A very charming French 19th century Louis XV, Rococo and Vernis Martin Salon Set of one sofa and two armchairs; raised by fine cabriole legs with elegant scrolled feet; above each leg is a lovely acanthus carving, centered by an arbalest shaped frieze, with an elegant carved foliate scrolling reserve; upholstered with velvet in tufted style the fascinating back of the set is in cane and exquisite acanthus carvings, vines and scrolling blossoming foliage centered with different hand paintings of romantic court scenes inspired from François Boucher collections circa 1755.
