A Glorious Louis XVI style Console with Mirror superabundantly hand carved, parcel gilded, patinated and painted in Blanc de Plomb finish;

The doubled frame robust mirror applied with a wonderful top crested with an Urn of Prosperity on a Greek Key issuing large C scrolling volutes and swaging garlands, the same work is repeated on the top corner curved sides in Pendulous technique; the very rich base of the mirror has a very fine double large blossoming acanthus leaves scrolling volutes with seashells rest on a double moulded base above a sophisticated shaped marble top;

The reversed frieze below is finely carved with a mixture of exquisite double Bas-Relief Guilloche accented with acanthus leaves and florets pendants and Rinceau design to the central reverse, cornered with four blocks adorned with rosettes; The very impressive frieze is adorned with swaging blossoming floral garlands to the front and sides;

Below are fine circular tapered reeded legs with leafy capitals, carved double caps and encased by charming and detailed spiral foliate garlands, on blocks with prominent rosettes and leafy sabots;

The reversed frieze below is finely carved with a mixture of exquisite double Bas-Relief Guilloche accented with acanthus leaves and florets pendants and Rinceau design to the central reverse, cornered with four blocks adorned with rosettes; The very impressive frieze is adorned with swaging blossoming floral garlands to the front and sides;

The legs are connected by a carved moulded and beaded double X stretcher centered with an Urn of Prosperity with leafy acorn finial amidst blossoming swaging imbricated garlands.
