A lovely Louis XVI ormolu-mounted veneer inlaid Demilune shaped console de desserte on the manner of the model by Joseph Stöckel and Jme (1743-1802), the breakfront serpentine shape marble top with molded edge above a central ormolu paneled frieze-drawer ornamented with foliate scrolled ormolu musical note flanked by ormolu ring handles and rosettes circular background within a fine chiseled and burnished ormolu band of the drawer contour, the conforming curved sides ornate with ormolu swaging tied garlands and ormolu band as well separated from the drawer by large vertical flower rosettes on blocks above Cyma Recta style brass trim, one stop-fluted turned legs with rosettes on blocks joined by two butterfly veneer style inlaid undertiers with ormolu pierced galleries on brass moulded bands and on turned tapering legs with tapering ormolu ball caps sabots
