The fine piece is raised on scalloped hipped cabriole legs with C shaped pierced blossoming foliate ormolu sabots and ornamented at the top with large exquisite pierced acanthus C scrolled foliate ormolu chutes,
At the center two drawers skillfully inlaid with sans-traverse cut palisander veneer, scrolling floral marquetry, high quality exoticwood colored marquetry patterns of flowers bouquet in a vase within a frame flanked by protuberances adorned with ormolu leaves imitating tree trunks, Rocaille S shaped pierced foliate handles, the lower large scalloped shaped drawer is decorated at the center by a fine large ormolu mount of scrolled reserved and acorn finial,
The arbalest shaped sides are inlaid with the same inlaying of veneer and marquetry works with delicate ormolu band running along the contour of the lower edges of the chest and a central reserve of an ormolu acanthus leaf; at the top rests the serpentine shaped eared and moulded marble top.
