This exceptional gueridon with circular top inset with a large cobalt-blue ground miniature of king Louis XVI, surrounded by eighteen further porcelain miniatures of courtly members, all within an engraved gilt-ormolu surrounding border of Egg-and-Dart style above a single guilloche gallery,

Raised on an ebonized stem supported by gilt-ormolu leaf-cast scrolls, volutes and Bay Leaves, on an ebonized concave-sided tripartite plinth,

The table is available as well in another Sèvres porcelain plaques and miniatures style of the famed painter François Boucher with central cobalt blue ground porcelain plate depicting the famous painting "La Sieste Interrompue" "The Interrupted Sleep" Circa.1750 which is now in the Metropolitan Museum.
