A Royal French Louis XV style ormolu-mounted Parquetry and blue Wedgwood Jasperware plaque inlaid eight legs Table De Salon after the model by François Linke late 19th century.

The fine scalloped top is inlaid with delicate trellis parquetry pattern surrounded by a veneer fillet and moulded burnished and satin ormolu border above a recessed scalloped body with an ormolu trim to the contour and issuing eight cabriole legs; each is ornamented by a finely chiseled detailed pierced scrolled acanthus corner mount and terminating by a delicate acanthus leaf sabot;

To each side is a central medallion of a blue and white Wedgwood Jasperware plaque encircled by an ormolu band surmounted by a pair of hung ormolu laurel wreath and flanked by a pair of harmonious ormolu bands adorned by hung swaging garlands; the same design is repeated on the central frieze of the protruding pair of legs.
