Raised by short splayed cabriole hipped legs with fine scrolled acanthus ormolu sabots connected to an ormolu chute leads up each leg to a very sensational richly chased acanthus leaf corner mount in a satin and burnished finish;
The scalloped body frieze is masterfully inlaid with birch mahogany veneer, adorned by delicate acanthus leaf ormolu chased filet to the contour and central ormolu Neoclassical style medallion of ribbon tied berried laurel wreath and pair of arrows. Repeated on the sides. The marble top above inset within a concave border ornamented with mottled ormolu band.
